Major element in turpentine. Used in many chemical reactions to make other terpenes. Beta pinene released from vegetation depending on temperature and light intensity into the ozone layer to condense aerosols that could harm the environment.

Flammable liquid and vapor. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool. Store locked up. Keep away from heat / sparks / open flames / hot surfaces. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Ground / bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof electrical / ventilating / lighting / equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. In case of fire: Use dry sand, dry chemical or alcohol-resistant foam for extinction. Harmful if swallowed, in contact with skin or if inhaled and may be fatal if swallowed and entered airways. Causes skin irritation and may cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes serious eye irritation and may cause respiratory irritation. Avoid breathing dust / fume / gas / mist / vapours / spray. Wash skin thoroughly after handling. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace. Wear protective gloves / protective clothing / eye protection / face protection. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor / physician. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove / Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water / shower. IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor / physician if you feel unwell. Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice / attention. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice / attention. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Dispose of contents / container to an approved waste disposal plant.
