How We Determine Prominent Terpenes

We determine prominence by evaluating the impact an isolate has in a profile. By cross-referencing the terpene analysis of over 200 strains, we created a prominence scale from low to high by occurrence. For instance, Ocimene at 8% of a blend is not very high from a volume standpoint. However, a strain that has a terpene profile comprised 8% of Ocimene is rare and a high concentration compared to most profiles. This allows us to determine prominence by impact to the profile, not strictly by volume within the strain.
