GMP
Good Manufacturing Practices are the standards required to conform to the batch-to-batch quality and safety benchmarks recommended by agencies that oversee the manufacture and sale of consumer goods. The purpose of GMP is always to prevent harm from occurring to the end user. Ongoing and thorough audits ensure procedures are followed, a recall system is in place and the environment is clean and controlled.
FSSC 22000
The Foundation Food Safety System Certification 22000 uses international standards such as ISO 9001 to create a scheme for the auditing and certification of food safety management systems. Through meeting the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) benchmarking requirements, the scheme demonstrates those who attain FSSC 22000 certification produce to the highest food industry standards in the world.
