California Regulatory Changes: Stay Compliant in California
Stay Compliant in California
California’s Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) in California has added guidance to the updated regulation of inhalable cannabis products.
The primary focus of the guidance published by the department is to provide direction on which flavors may or may not be appropriate for inhalable cannabis products, with the overall idea that flavors characteristic of and found within cannabis are fine, but flavors that would likely appeal to children or are designed to “mask” the flavors of cannabis are discouraged.
True Terpenes continues to work with regulators to provide a science-based approach to defining key terms. Our products are formulated based on scientific sensory and analytical principles as a foundation for representing natural Cannabis flavors and aromas.
We will continue to collaborate and support regulators with their important work. We invite you to contact our team for a consultation should you have any questions or need further support. Please consult with your legal counsel and compliance departments before taking any action.
